Taylors鈥 boys 鈥榳ork hard and play hard鈥.

We set high, scholarly, academic standards and expect that boys will give their absolute best in the classroom, and when working at home. However, we are strong believers in the value of character-building sporting and charitable commitments, and activities that can give boys passions and hobbies as part of their work-life balance.

Taylors鈥 boys get involved in sport (both extramural and intramural), music, drama, trips abroad, CCF, Duke of Edinburgh鈥檚 Award and a huge range of charitable activity. They frequently stay at school long after classes are over: training for a touch rugby match, rehearsing for a concert, attending a talk or putting the finishing touches to a project.

We believe this results in a far more rounded character and allows boys to grow in confidence from the day they join the school. Our aim is to give boys a complete education; this means furnishing them with opportunities on a daily basis so that they might first discover where their strengths truly lie, and then developing these talents fully. They join the school as boys and leave as balanced, confident young men.
